Week Five Roundup

So, this week I measured in at 42 inches – almost back to where I was when I started this whole thing. I’m not sure what happened, and I’m hoping that it’s simply a blip in the measurements. Maybe I was sucking my stomach in too much the last couple of weeks, or maybe I ate too much raisin bread this week. I’m not sure. It’s kind of discouraging, but I’ll stick with it and see how things go.

On the “how much did we spend on groceries” front, with both a major grocery trip and a Costco run in there we spent $220.93 this week, which is kind of a lot. We’ll have to work on reducing that. Maybe a budget or something.

So, this week’s roundup isn’t exactly the most positive in the world. Let’s see what we can pull off in the coming week.

  • What is Choices That Matter?

I'm a guy named John, and I do most of the writing around here. I went from a really active lifestyle to a really inactive lifestyle very quickly and my body is noticing. On top of that I'm worried about what's happening to our planet, so, I'm trying to do something about it.

For Christmas I received the book Food Matters, which I found very interesting and inspired me to start changing. Check out my first post for the beginning of the story.
