I haven’t started reading the book yet, but we’re already trying to eat less meat and more veggies. Tonight, Joanie cooked the Chicken Not Pie recipe from the book, (page 266 if you want to see the recipe super-fast). As you can imagine, it’s kind of like Chicken Pot Pie, which I love, but not. Basically it’s the insides of the pie, but no pastry, so we cut out the super-refined carbs and fats that are used in Pastry making.
So, how was it? Pretty tasty. Maybe there were too many peas, but as anyone who knows me will tell you, I’m not a fan of peas.
