Week Twelve Roundup

Wow, it’s been a whole week since I posted – must have been a busy week! Here are the numbers for this week: my waist is down to 40 3/4 inches, down 1/4 of an inch, and we spent $189.09 on groceries this week.

This is three weeks in a row of declines in waist size, something I’m really happy about. I’m not 100% sure, but it seems that this change is related, at least in part, to a change in the bread I eat. Two weeks ago I posted about making whole-grain bread, and I’ve continued making the bread since then. In fact, by changing to my home-made bread I’ve been able to nearly eliminate processed grains from my diet, something that I’m pretty happy about.

  • What is Choices That Matter?

I'm a guy named John, and I do most of the writing around here. I went from a really active lifestyle to a really inactive lifestyle very quickly and my body is noticing. On top of that I'm worried about what's happening to our planet, so, I'm trying to do something about it.

For Christmas I received the book Food Matters, which I found very interesting and inspired me to start changing. Check out my first post for the beginning of the story.
